Hm. My dad brought home a broken clock. I asked him if I could have it since it was broken. He had tried everything to fix it. He said okay.
So I fixed it by changing the battery. >___<
Well, the pendulum still wasn't working, so I decided... as always... to dismantle it! ;D
I was also looking for a way to change the movement of the clock somehow, to perhaps make it so the hands spin around chaotically and really fast. xD But sadly, tis one of those electric movements. And the time is regulated by a magnet, as was the pendulum.
Well, I fixed the pendulum, but then I was left with a plain old clock. I had a clock already, so I thought I wanted to do something with it. I didn't know what, so I just removed the clock face and hung the empty clock frame on the wall for a while, holding things in it.
Well, I decided later to start paining the clock face. I must say, I hate how its turned out, and I think I'm going to repaint it. Just not now. >___> And I need a better idea than the parts of the body mind and soul... Hmmm... Well for now, I just decided to make it an esoteric clock, and stick tarot cards around it to scare my family. My dad is convinced tarot cards are of the devil.
My sister is afraid of the devil and death cards. I too am a bit cautious when the hands rest around those two cards. I'm a bit superstitious. But no harm done yet.
I have named it the Body-Mind-Soul Clock, but for the benefit of my dad, it's nicknamed the "Satan" clock. xD
This is not a finished piece. I will totally redo the clock face into something better at some other time. If I learn how to rewire stuff, I might do more with it.
